Doug Ballard understands that hard work, smart planning and a willingness to partner with others is what the state legislature needs. He’s a member of the Jobs Team running for the State House in Legislative District 6—totally focused on building a strong economy.

As the Director of Planning and Development for the City of Chandler, he worked successfully to attract industry giants like Intel and Motorola, which have brought thousands of new jobs to the State.  For years, he partnered with small business owners to create thriving local economies.

A Northern Arizona resident, Doug is no stranger to the kind of effort that is needed.  He worked three jobs to put himself through college, and worked full-time and attended night classes while obtaining his Masters Degree. He knows first-hand that quality schools and universities are important for preparing our young people to compete in a global economy, and for attracting the high-wage jobs of the future.

Let’s get to work on Day One, with a plan to create jobs in Northern Arizona and a collaborative, bi-partisan approach to get it done.
